Don't hassle the Hook.

David Hasslehoff and Barbara Windsor at the First Family Entertainment Pantomime photocall at the Piccadilly Theatre on November 26, 2010 in London, England.

Aw, we just can't. We took one look at this collection of photos and immediately got all excited at the prospect of a bitchfest on par with the Victoria's Secret, Ice costumes, or Miss Universe posts. We do like ripping on costumes. It's guilt-free. No one gets hurt or offended because unlike, say, when we criticize a celebrity wearing nude shoes, there's no chance of anyone replying with "Hey! I LIKE going out dressed like a magic fairy! What's so wrong with that?"

But participation of The Hoff notwithstanding, we just couldn't bring ourselves to do it.

Pantomime is one of those things that we as mouth-breathing Yankees just don't get and probably never will. We know it's pretty beloved in England and besides, they all look like they're having fun with it.

Especially this guy.

The point is, it's just a bunch of Britlebrities (and guests) indulging in a longstanding entertainment tradition on par, we suppose, with our Vaudeville. Every single one of them looks like they're having fun and not one of them is taking it seriously. How can we make fun of that? It's fabulous. Enjoy the total lack of pretension. Consider it a little holiday eye candy.

But really, Brits. We need to hear the story on this little flaming ball of glitter. Wikipedia only goes so far.
